Synopsis

Charlie and Nick are at the same school, but they’ve never met … until one day when they’re made to sit together. They quickly become friends, and soon Charlie is falling hard for Nick, even though he doesn’t think he has a chance.

But love works in surprising ways, and Nick is more interested in Charlie than either of them realized.

A Review

I absolutely adored this book (and series)! Each character is unique and lovable, and you instantly get swept up in the fairytale-esque saga of Charlie and Nick's evolving relationship. I adored all of the supporting cast as well – it is a very difficult task to not find yourself as the reader in at least one of the characters. Each one is one-of-a-kind, and you can't help but root for all of them. As the series continues, especially with books 3 and 4, the content gets a little more serious, but the topics are addressed with grace and ease without minimizing the difficulty of those situations at all. (Plus, Heartstopper is available for free online and was also recently made into a really fun Netflix TV show!) If you are looking for a new comfort series, you've just hit the jackpot!
