Synopsis

A Review
I had genuinely forgotten how much I enjoy science fiction books until I picked this one up. It was so much fun to follow Spensa overcome barrier after barrier, working in a world and a system that is determined to knock her down, and I loved how, even though she is flawed, she is a lovable, fabulous heroine. The twists and turns in the story were engaging and intricate without being difficult to follow, and the depth of the world building was really impressive – Brandon Sanderson is a beloved author for a reason! Whether you have never read a science fiction book or have read them for years, I would highly recommend this book!
